NEWS AND REFERENCE SITES

The Miniatures Page is a good site for news and information on wargaming in general. Lately it has become a whiners haven and an overly PC forum. I don't post there anymore, but it's still useful for gaming news. 

The Moccasins: Yahoo Group is great for gaming enthusiasts of Native American warfare and culture which pertains to the French and Indian War through the Black Hawk War. It has free rules and over 400 members brains to pick for information. 

War on the Plains: Yahoo Group is another Native American gaming related site which focuses on Plains Indian warfare and culture from 1790 to 1890. Some of the guys from Moccasins are here as well.

Robert Griffing-Paramount Press Artist Robert Griffings Gallery of 18th century paintings. Great reference for painting up Woodland Indians. 

French and Indian War 250 Inc. The home site celebrating the 250th anniversary of the French and Indian War.

The War that made America The home site of a Documentary and Educational series on the French and Indian War.

Timothy Truman The home site of Artist Timothy Truman. Timothy Wrote and Illustrated the Graphic Novel, Wilderness: The True Story of Simon Girty. I Highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the Ohio Frontier.

Crocodile Games are the producers of War Gods, fantasy war gaming in Mythological Egypt and Greece. I work very closely with the Croc, and Todd Harris, Conquest Miniatures master sculptor also does an amazing job with Egyptians and Hoplites.

H.G. Walls is the site of Master Modeler Herb Gundt. Herb designed our Longhouses and is well known in the miniature terrain business.

TW Figurines The home site of Miniature Painter, Tom Weiss. An excellent painter with a great gallery of painted miniatures including Conquest Miniatures 500 Nations. A must see!

Lead Adventure Forum The BEST gaming and miniatures forum on the net. A very productive group of guys, very positive attitudes and people who actually play the games they talk about, instead of standing on soap boxes and claiming to be holier than thou.

Actor Wes Studi The official website of actor Wes Studi (Magua, Last of the Mohicans). A lot of information on a very talented man with a message board that Wes himself frequents. Learn about upcoming films, his band and check out his sculptures.

Actor Eric Schweig The official site of actor Eric Schweig (Uncas, Last of the Mohicans). Information on another talented man who sculpts some beautiful works of art. These have to be seen to be believed. Learn about upcoming films and other projects or visit his message board.
